I don't know if I've ever talked about it on here before, but I originally fell in love with the fashion industry at age 15 by looking through every single runway collection in complete awe. Before there was Pinterest, I would create these huge photo albums on my computer to save and organize different collections and trends. Personal style blogging is a very different side of fashion and one that I love, but I realized that in blogging I can also share my love of runway collections.
This collection of my favorite looks is just from New York Fashion Week, and I have not had the chance to look through every collection yet (I wish I had that kind of time!). However, it still took me SO long to narrow it down to these collections and then to these photos/runway looks!
1.
J. Crew
J. Crew was one of my top 2 collections this past week! I loved the mix of soft neutrals, interesting textures, bright colors and prints, and of course the immaculate details.

2.
Kaufmanfranco
To be honest, I'm fairly unfamiliar with this label, but it definitely caught my attention. The collection as a whole was a mix of freshness and glamour. Trends to takeaway: bright whites, vibrant oranges, and a bit of metallic.

3.
Michael Kors
Michael Kors is pretty much a given for any runway list of mine. Season after season he creates wearable glamour. I loved the seamless mixture of white, prints and leather in this collection.

4.
Rebecca Minkoff
I absolutely love everything Rebecca Minkoff. She pulls off Bohemian to perfection and creates it-girl attire. Trends to take away: white and mint paired with bright accent colors, and boho prints and embroidery.

5.
Rachel Zoe
You all probably already know how much I love Rachel Zoe. I was a die-hard Rachel Zoe Project viewer, and she remains one of my greatest style inspirations. Her collection was sort of safari-glam, and I loved every moment of it. Notes to take for next spring: crisp whites, crop tops, and embellished details.

6.
Tory Burch
Tory Burch was my other top 2 collection. Everything about it was SO spot-on for spring. I honestly want it all... Trends I'll be wearing next spring: green and orange pastels, chic prints, feminine silhouettes, pointed flats and embellished sandals.

There were so many incredible collections that I didn't have room to include (because this is already too long). Ralph Lauren (those neon shift dresses - ah!), DVF, Oscar de la Renta... The list goes on and on. AND, I can't wait to continue watching as all of the other fashion weeks takes place! My style inspiration is at an all-time high right now and I love that feeling.
What were some of your favorite collections and trends that you spotted??

Omg, I used to save files on my computer of runway looks too! I love looking through the collections, and especially now with apps like Style.com and MODTV. Some of my favorites for NYFW were DVF, Jill Stuart, Michael Kors, and Carmen Marc Valvo. I still need to catch up!
