Feminine Fall

I recently got to shoot with Shelby (follow her gorgeous Instagram here), a very talented photographer in Southwest Missouri that I've known for a long time. We actually used to dance together years ago and have kept in touch on social media over the years, but we finally connected and collaborated on shooting several different looks and themes for fall and the holidays. She is so creative and has such a beautiful eye for photography! This look was essentially my dream shoot... An amazing floral maxi dress, a huge bouquet of roses, and golden hour lighting. 

I'm now a firm believer that a long-sleeve maxi dress is one of the most flattering things you can wear, especially if it defines the waistline. Not to mention that they're just beautiful! You can easily tone one down with a suede, leather or denim jacket, or dress one up with heels and statement earrings for an unexpected holiday party look.
