I've received several requests for my Christmas wish list from girls wanting ideas on what to ask for! So, I did a Christmas wish list in place of my monthly wish list post :) Shopping isn't exactly uncommon for me and I work really hard/save up to be able to buy things for myself, but I like to save some ideas for things I don't typically splurge on for myself. Beauty products like the ones I pictured above are a perfect example of this! I actually really need a new eye cream, but it's just one of those things where I prioritize other expenses first and this keeps getting pushed down. Other ideas are home decor pieces that you don't exactly need, but would love to own! Our house isn't super furnished or decorated yet because I have trouble making up my mind on things and then actually purchasing them ;) Also, don't be shy in asking for fun gifts like a new robe, slippers or nice accessories! I would never spend money on a bathrobe for myself, but it's something I would absolutely love to have (this one was Trey's idea - good job hubby!). Same with the Adidas Superstars... I would love to own a pair, but I don't know if I can justify buying them for myself right now.
So, don't be afraid to make a wish list and let it be known! I guarantee your loved ones would rather spend money on something they know you'll love anyways! Trey and I have a good system where we each make a list (for both Christmas and birthdays) of specific things we want. Then the other person can choose some things from that list and you get things you want, but it's still a surprise about what you'll receive from the list. We also do complete surprises occasionally, but neither of us are good at keeping them from each other :)
