Swimsuit: Billabong (same print in a bikini here) | Sunnies: Karen Walker
Happy Sunday! Last weekend my friend Brianna and I hung out by her family's pool and decided to shoot some cute one-pieces we purchased this summer. I've always been a bikini girl, but one-pieces really are so flattering, and there are a ton of cute options out these day!
On another note... I just have to spend a minute talking about how nerve-wracking it was to shoot photos in a swimsuit! I try to be as body-confident as possible, because I want to be a good role model to my five nieces, but I'm not going to lie and say this was super comfortable for me. One of the downsides of blogging is seeing so many photos of yourself...it can definitely be easy to pick yourself apart. But on the other hand, some of the best parts of blogging are that you can challenge yourself by putting yourself out there, and that you can be proud of the photos you create! So, thanks for reading through my weird little rant, but also for always being so encouraging on here! Your comments on my blog and Instagram keep me motivated to create great content, that I hope is always relatable!
I encourage you to check out Brianna's post too...she shared a great little message :)
