I got this sweater at Nordstrom last year, and while I love when I can blog something current for you guys, I also like to show how I re-wear some of my pieces year after year in many different ways. While a good basic sweater may not be the most exciting item in your closet, it is something that can be styled so many different ways, dressed up or down, with sneakers or over-the-knee boots - the possibilities are endless. This outfit is one that I wear in "real life" all the time, and sometimes I swap in a pair of sneakers to make it a little more casual.

I hope you all had a great weekend! I actually ended up with a surprise 4-day weekend due to an ice storm and MLK Day...and I feel like a new woman. I barely wore makeup and barely put heat on my hair, and I love weekends like that. So now you know why I've been completely absent on social media the past couple of days 😉 We were in sweats most of the weekend! On Friday, I sold a bunch of my closet on Facebook to friends in the area, and it was great to make a little extra money, but even better to have cleaned out a big portion of my closet! It's motivated me to continue cleaning out closets and get my sh*t organized, and hopefully I'll have a few pieces up on my Poshmark soon.
