Love, Lenore began as a creative outlet during my college years and has since grown into a personal style and lifestyle blog where I share my favorite outfits, shopping finds, beauty products, travels and life experiences, and inspiration for a happy, beautiful life. The purpose behind Love, Lenore is to not only share my love of all things fashion + lifestyle, but to also help you and other women discover your own personal style and beautiful life that you love regardless of your budget or where you live or what you look like.
So, more about me... I'm Jacy Lenore Overstreet and I live in Missouri with my husband, Trey, and rescue dogs Lulu and Russell! My full-time gig is as the communications director for our local school district, and I'm one of the lucky ones because I really do like my job. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to be my own girl boss and blog full time or start my own business someday though (pipe dream? hopefully not). In the last year or two I've discovered that I love taking workout classes, learning about nutrition and skincare and overall wellness, researching and trying out beauty products, and cooking healthy recipes. I'm also always down for a glass or two of wine and a long, lazy Netflix binge with my little family though :)

Frequently Asked Questions
If your name is Jacy, then why is your blog name Love, Lenore?
My blog name comes from my middle name, which was passed down to me by my mama. I've always loved it, and my blog was the perfect opportunity to use my middle name in a very meaningful way.
How tall are you?
It's so hard to tell how tall people are on the internet and social media, isn't it? But I am just shy of 5'9". I try to remember to reference my height in posts from time to time, and also talk about lengths of pieces I'm wearing.
What camera and lens do you use?
I shoot with a Canon 7D Mark II, and while I have a couple of lenses, I primarily shoot with a Sigma 35mm f/1.4. These were both big investments for me, but I've never regretted those purchases! My love and knowledge of photography is constantly growing and I'm so happy to have good equipment. A more affordable lens that I love and recommend is a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
How do you edit your photos?
For photos taken on my camera (most of what you see on here), I do the bulk of my editing in Lightroom, and sometimes use a few tools in Photoshop. I currently use Claire Huntsberger's Lightroom presets. For iPhone photos, I primarily edit in VSCO (and stick to 1-2 filters for consistency), but also use features in Snapseed, Darkroom and Facetune here and there.
